Jessica & Jon got married in Springfield, Virginia in a beautiful, winter wonderland wedding! Their wedding party - 7 bridesmaids, 7 groomsmen - was a blast to shoot, and I've included a couple of early favorites here!

Carol hired me to do some pictures of her, as well as some of her and her dogs - and I wanted to share a few! It was a great shoot and I enjoyed working with her.

Here are some pictures I snapped of our dog - he's a 4-year-old Saint Bernard we rescued about a year ago, and he's the light of our life.

Emily Ann

Emily Ann was born November 3, 2009 shortly after 6:00 p.m. Weighing in at 8 lbs, 8 ounces at just 19 inches, you'd think she's a "chubby" baby, but she's absolutely perfect.

Katie & Johnny, Fredericksburg VA

Katie & Johnny are personal friends of mine; Katie and I lived across the hall from each other in college. She's been there for me through some of my best and worst times, and I was so happy to be able to be a part of her day.

Their reception was held in Fredericksburg, VA on Saturday at her parents' house, a beautiful home with an outdoor bar and gazebo set up. Katie and Johnny actually got married in Vegas last month, so this was their reception for everyone to get together and have fun. It was a blast to get to photograph them in such a casual setting and spend time with friends, as well!

The photos I'm choosing to post for this day aren't the typical ones I'd necessarily post, but rather the ones I felt reflect my friends' personalities best.

This picture, though not necessarily technically perfect, to me perfectly shows Katie and Johnny. The little boy is Katie's nephew JP and the light of her life; I love the way that Johnny is looking at Katie with so much respect while she plays with JP.
